I guess I deleted the pic of the cupboard with the apple juice, apple pie filling and strawberry jam. But we have that too! I love having all these yummy things throughout the winter!

And lovin my kids! I spent some time earlier this week with the little girls out in the yard. We had fun, and I actually got some work done, too!

Sweetsa's Birthday

Sweetsa wanted a Dora Birthday party this year.

So we invited her friends from Church and the neighborhood, a cousin as well as her siblings and did up the day nicely. They colored Dora and Diego pictures.

They played Dora, Dora Boots (a variation of Duck Duck Goose)

Then they had a candy hunt. We did the easy four year old version...no hiding eggs, or even hiding the candy, just throw a bunch out on the lawn and have 'em go at it. They had a blast.

Here they check out their loot bags

The rest of the time they ran around the yard and played and played!

One of the funnest (most fun?)times of the party was when Swiper came to visit! We didn't get a pic of her/him during the party but here she is the next morning!

The little kids had a blast telling Swiper "Swiper NO SWIPING!" again and again as Sweetsa opened her presents. It was really neat and really sweet of Mimi to think of and do it all by her self (Daddy did help a bit with the mask design!)

And now Sweetsa, a note to you. You have grown so much this past year! You are getting so much taller and you talk so much more now! I love how you are constantly telling me how things should be and that "apparently" this or that happened, and what we should do about it.

I love how you are so loving , and how you have "adopted" some of the singles in the Branch. I also love how much you love to cuddle and snuggle (although I do get a little tired of carrying you around all the time!

I'm proud of you for knowing all your ABCs and being able to write them too! you are doing so well with your computer class, and I love how you love to "read". That love will take you places girl! Don't stop!

I love how you are so determined (some might say stubborn!)and don't so things half way. If something is worth doing, you do it all the way! Those characteristics will help you throughout your life.

Sweetsa, Mommy and Daddy love you so much, and we always will! Keep choosing the right and helping your siblings and you will be happy!
