Reunion 2008



YUP! It's time to start thinking about Reunion again! In other words, it's time to decide if you want to join in the fun again, and help pay the 20% deposit Mr. Gardener requires for us to reserve the Ranch.

From what I understand, in order for us to have the facilities to ourselves we need 140 people to come to Reunion--about 20 more than came in 2006 (And those numbers do not include infants, so don't try repopulating the world to get our numbers up, K?). Here are some preliminary numbers I got in an email recently (you can also check out the website for camping and other info.)

These prices do not include taxes so there will be an additional charge, but as I recall it's not much. If you have contact info for others that is new/different, get the changes to me or the Amphibians in Arizona, so we can get the word out to as many as possible.

How lame is this being the first to comment on my own post!? Sorry the figures turned out to be so confusing...I really did put spaces in...I guess they got lost in translation!

Looks great, B! I think you can plan on us. But I feel really out of the loop--I know that has to do with missing reunion last time. What are the dates again? And how much exactly do you need from us for the deposit? Do you want us to figure what 20% of our cost will be, or just pay the whole amount now so it's over with and you can have enough for the deposit?

We'd like to attend - when is the deposit due? When is the full amount due? What portion is refundable and when does it become no longer refundable? - just in case it turns out one of us happens to be somewhere in the middle of the ocean during reunion ... hypothetically of course.

We are planning on it as well. The only reason I can think of that would stop us would be if next summer Dan got deployed again. Hopefully we would know that in time to get our $ back. We can pay up front though if you need it for the deposit.

We plan to participate. Do we have a group address for us to send all the "Henn" money to? Wat is the time frame for gettin the deposit in and when will the final payment have to be made?

Reunion dates are July 23-25 of 2008.

Nancy is the treasurer, so she'll be collecting the $$. There will be a mass email sent out in the next day or two (6/13 0r 14)with the actual figures (tax included). According to what's happened in the past, if you think you might need a refund, only pay 20-50% right now---Gardener is VERY reluctant to give money back (read he doesn't do it). However you can pay/add people as late as up to two weeks before reunion. The deposit for the group is due within the next two weeks (by 6/26 I think).
