A Harvest Game of Threes
We have been reaping the benefits of our little garden this summer. Here are some of our more interesting finds.
When I see this pic I think of the song, "one of these things is not like the others one of these things just doesn't belong"...can you tell which it is?
I took these pics using the same basket to help provide perspective, did it help or make it harder?
Can you tell what we harvested on our 'mini' harvest day?
Actually, it wasn't really a mini harvest day, as we harvested a lot, just some of the things were rather tiny! Our harvest yesterday included about two bushels of pears, cabbage, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, peppers, green beans, cucumbers, zucchini, summer squash, green & red peppers, anaheim peppers, and carrots. The apples we picked to see how close to being ripe they are...they aren't ready yet!

That's great you had such a nice harvest. Our garden (2 tomato plants that turned black and died and a bunch of lettuce, spearmint and spinach) didn't do as well. Good Job B and family!
yum yum!!
Looks just lovely!! We got lots of yummy tomatoes and a few sweet green peppers this year but you've inspired me to go for more next year!!
Wow. It looks great! We have yet to see if any of our plants will fruit this year!
Wow! What a great harvest! Ours was considerably smaller, but we do still have loads of carrots in the fridge. Doesn't fresh-grown produce taste a million times better than store-bought?
